Across the estuary lies Instow, where in the summer months you can catch a ferry across (approx. 3 miles by road), popular for its sandy beach and waterfront restaurants, while the golden sands of Westward Ho! are around 2 miles away, offering classic seaside charm and excellent surf. For family adventures, The Milky Way Adventure Park is approximately 10 miles from the property, and keen walkers can step straight onto the breathtaking South West Coast Path from the village, where dramatic clifftop scenery and sweeping coastal views await.

Downstairs you’ll find a comfortable open-plan lounge/diner with inviting seating, exposed beams and a warming wood burner set within a beautiful brick fireplace — perfect for cosy evenings after a day by the sea.
