Set in Reydon, just 1 mile from highly fashionable Southwold, the three-bedroom property welcomes six guests eager to enjoy both the countryside and the coast. Head into town to browse in the independent shops or dine out in a gastropub. Paddle and swim from the sandy beach, with its famous row of colourful huts, then pick up some fish and chips to eat on the seafront or pier. The pier, which is 1.5 miles from the cottage, is famous for its quirky displays and interactive under-the-pier show. Enjoy a 2.5-mile walk down to the quay to go crabbing, buy fresh seafood or board the pedestrian ferry across the river to Walberswick. Take the children to Southwold Maize Maze and the adults on a tour of the Adnams Brewery, both 1.5 miles away.

Step inside the pretty cottage and you’ll find plenty of space to store your footwear and hang coats. Head on through to the sunlight-filled, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can throw open the doors to the garden and recline on the sofa to catch up on your day.
