There's no need to travel far for a great day out: within 2 miles you can visit the magnificent Stock Ghyll Force waterfall, Ambleside Roman Fort and the National Trust's Stagshaw Gardens, while the World of Beatrix Potter attraction is only 4.5 miles away.
