For a foodie day out, head to Padstow (3 miles), where the streets around the harbour are lined with independent boutiques and high-quality cafes and restaurants. Here, you can also hire bikes and follow the Camel Trail to Wadebridge, enjoying the scenery as you pedal. Play golf at the local club just a mile away, or head to the indoor climbing centre (great for a rainy day), 4.5 miles away. The world-famous Eden Project is only 21.5 miles away.
