A stay at this stone-built cottage on a working farm near Glastonbury gives friends and family the chance to slow down and soak up the beauty of the Somerset countryside. Surrounded by rolling hills and a network of footpaths right from the doorstep, it’s an excellent base for walkers, nature lovers and anyone keen to explore at a gentler pace. Just 3 miles away, the fascinating town of Glastonbury awaits. Climb the iconic Glastonbury Tor for far-reaching views across the Somerset Levels, or wander the ruins of Glastonbury Abbey. Wells (8 miles) is England’s smallest city, with its breathtaking cathedral and the beautiful moated Bishop’s Palace. Families will enjoy a trip to Wookey Hole Caves (9.5 miles), where dramatic caverns, myths and attractions create a fun and memorable experience for all ages. The historic city of Bath (24 miles) is well worth the journey, with its elegant Georgian streets, famous Roman Baths, boutique shopping and excellent dining.
Step inside via the utility and boot room, where a picture window frames views of Glastonbury Tor. This practical area includes a handy shower room, ideal for muddy boots and outdoor gear. From here, move through to the impressive open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, which is notably roomy for six guests. French doors lead straight out to the enclosed garden, while a Smart TV and comfortable seating make this a great hub for socialising and downtime. Upstairs, you'll find two characterful bedrooms, both en-suite and set beneath striking apex ceilings with exposed beams. Each room boasts views towards Glastonbury Tor. One bedroom offers a double bed with a TV, while the second is arranged with twin beds and a bunk bed – a popular choice for younger guests.
Outside, the fully enclosed courtyard garden provides a safe setting for both children and dogs, with outdoor seating and a hot tub ready for laid-back evenings. An on-site honesty shop offers toys and essentials, and there’s a shared tennis court for enjoying exercise outside. Ample parking is available, ensuring easy arrivals and departures throughout your stay.
