While in the area, don’t miss a fascinating guided tour of the Spaceguard Centre, a working astronomical observatory just 5 miles away. The renowned foodie town of Ludlow is just 21 miles away. In one corner, a wood burner offers glowing warmth, and there’s comfortable seating where you can wrap yourself in a blanket and snuggle up with a book, or simply gaze out at the garden and appreciate the view. The kitchen features everything you’d expect for easy, efficient cooking, including a microwave and an air fryer, and there’s a farmhouse-style table at which you can linger over hearty breakfasts and romantic suppers. When sleep beckons, the rustic bedroom has a double hand-hewn bed where you can tuck yourself into pure linen sheets and gaze out over the wildflower meadow. The bathroom is another luxurious delight, featuring a stunning, free-standing copper bath on a raised plinth and a double rainfall shower. From the living area, French doors lead to the wraparound, elevated sun deck, part of which has sheltered seating for sitting back and breathing in the fresh air. Dine outside and enjoy the panoramic vistas, perhaps lighting the BBQ or the pizza oven for a delicious treat, or climb into the wood-fired hot tub for a restorative soak.
