About This Property

Oc 34729 The Swallow Ham Farm is a 2 bedroom dog friendly property

Just a stone’s throw from the Cotswold Way, and surrounded by scenic countryside and the unrivalled landscapes of Gloucestershire, this purpose-built cabin invites four guests to fully embrace the great outdoors. The Stroud Valleys are rich in undulating woodlands with an abundance of nature trails, ideal for scenic hikes with man’s best friend by your side. Venture to Coaley Peak (2 miles) to take in the astounding views, before joining the Cotswold Way (1.5 miles) as it winds through the heart of this National Landscape. Nearby market towns, including Nailsworth (5.5 miles), Tetbury (10 miles) and Stroud (7 miles), are all within easy reach, each offering winding old English streets lined with eclectic shops, cosy eateries and welcoming country pubs. Further afield, explore the fabulous Highgrove Gardens, the royal estate (10.5 miles), or visit the National Arboretum at Westonbirt to discover 600 acres of rare trees and shrubs.

Surrounded by wide, open fields with the Forest of Dean visible in the distance, this cabin promises far-reaching views in every direction. Inside, the open-plan layout allows guests to spread out comfortably, while large windows flood the space with natural light. Spend sociable evenings in the lounge/kitchen/diner, a central hub for conversation, meal preparation, board games and movie nights. The lovely kitchen is well equipped for cooking for your group, and the lounge area sits opposite, complete with soft seating and a Smart TV. At the entrance, a spacious hallway provides storage for coats and boots, along with laundry facilities. At the far end of the property, two bedrooms sit side by side, served by a modern family bathroom. The bedrooms comprise one double and one twin, each dressed in soft linens and offering ample space to unwind.

Step through the French doors onto the raised decking, a terrace area that’s furnished with an outdoor dining set and BBQ, boasting wonderful views across the sweeping countryside and great sunsets to the West. The decking also provides access to the grounds below, and guests have access to 250 acres of farm and footpaths. Private parking for two cars adds a final touch of convenience.
