Walkers are spoilt for choice, with Curbar and Froggatt Edges only 2 miles away for sweeping views, and the traffic-free Monsal Trail is 3 miles away for relaxed walking or cycling. Hathersage (5 miles) is a village rich in history and has an iconic outdoor swimming pool, while Castleton (9 miles), is home to caves and Mam Tor.
