Set about 1.5 miles from the charming village of Golcar, this stunning property makes the perfect getaway for large families and groups of friends. Around the corner is an excellent farm shop with a cafe, while in the village, you’ll find pretty streets lined with former weavers’ cottages, plus a selection of independent shops, pubs and places to eat. Just 1 mile away, the renowned Titanic Spa offers the chance of a pampering treatment during your holiday. Explore pretty Slaithwaite (pronounced ‘Slawit’), 2.5 miles away, where there’s a serene canal for peaceful strolls and lots of interesting shops and lovely cafes. From Marsden, 4.5 miles away, you can head out on scenic walking or cycling trails, or explore the unique Standedge Tunnel, Britain’s longest, deepest and highest canal tunnel. Huddersfield is also 4.5 miles away, a buzzy market town with an array of independent boutiques and great places to eat and drink. The handsome stone property has been thoughtfully renovated to combine original features – such as rustic beams and stone-mullion windows – with an array of modern comforts and amenities.
