The pretty village of Newnham, on the banks of the River Severn 3 miles away, features a selection of pubs, eateries, a local store, galleries and an historic church. The property is an ideal base to explore the Forest of Dean, Wye Valley National Landscape and beyond. Keen cyclists and walkers can enjoy tracks and trails through the ancient oak woodlands and pine forests of the Forest of Dean, 5 miles away, soaking up the history and natural beauty. Bike hire is available at Cannop Cycle Centre, 10 miles away. Test your head for heights on the high ropes at Go Ape or head to Clearwell Caves for underground adventures, both within 10 miles. Alternatively, discover Symonds Yat (15 miles), for kayaking on the River Wye, or take a trip to Slimbridge and Cotswolds.
