Positioned between Cromer (13 miles) and Great Yarmouth (21 miles), Walcott is the ideal spot for a getaway, with the main road running parallel to the shoreline for easy day trips, providing fantastic ocean vistas. Walkers and outdoor enthusiasts will delight in the scenic Norfolk Coast Path passing through the village; join the trail and head to Happisburgh Lighthouse (1.5 miles). Walcott’s golden beach awaits just under a mile away, offering soft sands, safe waters, and plenty of waterside cafes, shops and ice cream huts. The local area is steeped in history, with National Trust properties including Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall (both within 15 miles), while the world-famous Norfolk Broads start just 3.5 miles away. Before stepping into this welcoming barn conversion, take a moment to appreciate its surrounding scenery of verdant fields that eventually meet the sea. Head inside and be greeted by a spacious, south-facing living room flooded with natural light and offering plenty of plush seating to sink into after days of outdoor adventure.
