If you fancy a classic beach day, head to Sea Palling (4.5 miles), where Blue Flag sands and calm, shallow waters make it fantastic for swimming, sunbathing or hiring equipment for paddleboarding and other water sports. Alternatively, visit Mundesley (8.5 miles) – a traditional seaside village with colourful beach huts, tempting cafes and a laid-back, friendly feel. Nature lovers will be drawn to Hickling Broad (6.5 miles), where you can spot rare birds, take a boat trip or explore tranquil nature trails.
