With one flexible bedroom and plenty of pet-friendly features, it’s an ideal rural base for couples, friends, and their pups planning days of adventure. Enjoy local walks, including routes along the nearby River Stour (river levels permitting). Stratford-upon-Avon enchants with its Tudor architecture and world-famous links to William Shakespeare; visit his birthplace, former school, and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. The town also offers excellent independent shops, cosy tearooms, and traditional pubs. Other nearby highlights include the county town of Warwick and its medieval castle, Hidcote Gardens (NT), Kiftsgate Court Gardens, and the artistic haven of Compton Verney (all within 11 miles). The North Cotswold towns of Chipping Campden, Broadway, Moreton-in-Marsh, and Stow-on-the-Wold are less than a 30-minute drive away, offering charming mellow-brick cottages and scenic sightseeing.
