The historic village of Painswick (22 miles), known for its churchyard with 99 yew trees and its striking rococo garden, makes an enjoyable day trip. Westonbirt National Arboretum (9.5 miles) and the National Trust’s Dyrham Park (7 miles) are also within easy reach. For shopping, dining and cultural attractions, the vibrant cities of Bath and Bristol are both located within 15 miles.
