Ideal for couples or small families, it’s located on a boutique site of three properties, with views of the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. Hike to the ruins of Carreg Cennen Castle, 6 miles, for incredible views, head to the fascinating Bronze Age burial cairns of Tair Carn Uchaf, 8 miles, or see the UK’s only known Roman gold mine at Dolaucothi, 17 miles. The Gelli Aur (Golden Grove) estate, is only 1.5 miles, and boasts a deer park, arboretum, gardens and tea rooms, while the National Trust’s Newton House and the ruins of Dinefwr Castle are 5 miles. The chic market town of Llandeilo, just 4 miles, is home to a superb range of independent shops and places to eat and drink. The handsome stone barn boasts an interior which combines lovely original features and modern conveniences. The comfortable lounge includes plush seating gathered around a wood burner and a Smart TV, making this the perfect spot in which to snuggle up after a day outdoors. In warm weather you can throw open the patio doors and let a lovely breeze flow through as you enjoy the spectacular views.
