Golden sands and crystal-blue waters make the town’s beaches a holiday hot spot, while even closer to your doorstep the vast expanse of Bantham Beach is perfect for sunbathing, beach games, paddling and rock pooling. Across the River Avon, the beach at Bigbury-On-Sea (10 miles) is flanked by rolling hills and connected by a tidal causeway to iconic Burgh Island.
