Sleeping eight people across four bedrooms, it’s ideal for families or groups of friends who are searching for a chic retreat to call home while they explore the Cornwall countryside together. Discover amazing plants at the tropical rainforest biome at the Eden Project (4 miles), or pack up a picnic and head to Porthpean Beach (6 miles) to soak up the views over Saint Austell Bay. Alternatively, set off to The Lost Gardens of Heligan (10.5 miles) to lose yourself among its gardens and pleasure grounds. For a dose of heritage, the Wheal Martyn Clay Works ( 3.5 miles) dives into Cornwall’s china clay mining past, with walking paths around old clay pits and a cafe to recharge. You can also enjoy a peaceful walk to Menacuddle Well (5 miles), tucked away in woodland – it’s a historic holy well with a calming atmosphere. Pull up in the private parking area (there’s room for two cars) and step inside this elegant home. Inside, you’ll be welcomed by an exceptionally chic open-plan kitchen/dining area with bi-fold doors that open out into the garden.
