Part of a complex of five properties situated along the River Ant, this inviting retreat is a fantastic base for four guests. The immediate area offers miles of tranquil walks, with Smallburgh (1.5 miles) and Stalham (2 miles) offering a choice of refreshment. Barton Turf Adventure Centre (3 miles) lies along the shore of Barton Broad. Keen walkers, hikers, nature spotters and boat enthusiasts can head to Wroxham Barns, Hickling Broad and Bure Marshes National Nature Reserve, all within 11 miles. For a day by the sea, Happisburgh, Mundesley, Caister-on-Sea and Waxham are all within 15 miles. Wroxham, known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads, is 6 miles away, while Cromer (16 miles) offers an award-winning pier, sandy beaches, and attractions including Amazona Zoo. Visit Horsey Gap (9.5 miles) to glimpse one of the UK's largest grey seal colonies, or the coastal village of Sea Palling (6 miles). Stepping inside this fresh and airy holiday home, you will be greeted by the spacious and welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With plenty of comfortable seating and a Smart TV, the bright, beautiful lounge is an ideal space for everyone to unwind in after a great day out. There's a handy sociable dining table to the side, perfect for enjoying family meals which you can rustle up in the fully equipped and thoughtfully organised kitchen to the rear. The ground floor is rounded off with a refreshing bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC. Heading upstairs, the first floor features a separate additional WC and a choice of two charming bedrooms. The first is a lovely double room, and the second is a cosy twin; both rooms have been decorated in light relaxing tones. From the lounge, double doors lead out onto a waterside patio with garden furniture, providing an ideal spot for fishing. There is a mooring for a small boat available if required, and you will also have access to gym equipment, a heated indoor pool and a sauna, which are shared with the four other properties on-site. Private parking is available for two cars.
