A mile away, the local village pub offers hearty meals and a friendly atmosphere. For a relaxed morning or afternoon, stroll over to the Fulbeck Craft Centre and Cafe (1 mile), where you can browse handmade crafts and savour coffee and cake in charming surroundings. History lovers should visit Fulbeck Manor (1.5 miles), a beautiful estate that hosts regular craft and food fairs throughout the year. Lincoln (18 miles) is home to its famous cathedral and castle, as well as independent shops and riverside restaurants. Alternatively, travel to Newark (13 miles) for antique shops and cafes, or Easton Walled Gardens, Belton House and Grimsthorpe Castle. Also within easy reach is Caythorpe, well-know for it's World War II history and Arnhem celebrations, RAF Cranwell. Arrive via a half-mile track to this rural cottage – a lovingly restored hideaway that promises warmth, comfort and character in every corner.
