Situated within the quiet surroundings of Jurys Gap, the property is just a brief stroll (50 metres) from a beautiful sandy beach with glorious sea views. A perfect spot for peaceful dog walks, kite surfing and sunbathing, Camber Sands beach leads west towards the popular seaside resort of Camber (2 miles). Heading east, you can explore the large expanses of Dungeness and Romney Marsh (7.5 miles). The medieval market town of Rye (3 miles) is known for its cobbled streets, quaint tearooms and bustling antiques shops. The area has a range of historic sites and attractions, including Great Dixter House and Gardens, Brede Steam Giants, Camber Castle and the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, all within 15 miles. Entering this quirky former coastguard’s cottage, you will be greeted by a fully equipped galley-style kitchen, perfect for rustling up your favourite dishes. The kitchen leads through to a bright and spacious timber-clad dining room, with plenty of storage space, a cheerful dining table and ample seating. Exploring the ground floor of this fresh and airy retreat further, the snug lounge has a wood burner-effect electric fire, a Smart TV and plush seating perfect for a quiet night in. Downstairs, on the lower ground floor, you will find the first of the property’s three lovely bedrooms: a relaxing double. This floor also features a utility cupboard and a refreshing, beautifully tiled bathroom with a roll-top bath. From the dining room, stairs lead up to the first floor where you will find a light and cheery king-size bedroom alongside a stylish bathroom with a roll top bath, walk-in shower and WC. A set of steep and narrow short steps leads up and directly into the cosy twin bedroom on the second floor. This delightful space is in the eaves of the property, with low sloping ceilings and far-reaching views from the skylights. Heading outside, a few steps lead down into the charming garden with patio furniture providing an ideal spot for dining alfresco on a sunny afternoon. Private parking is available for three cars.
