Nestled at the bottom of wooded Skaigh Valley in Dartmoor National Park, this former workers’ cottage is the perfect base for both relaxation and adventure. Step outside the door and you’re immediately surrounded by the wild beauty of the moors, with countless National Trust sites close by. After a long walk, enjoy a well-earned break in one of the welcoming village pubs or tearooms, and stock up on essentials at the well-supplied local shop, all just over 150 metres away. Nearby attractions include Finch Foundry (150 metres), Castle Drogo (8 miles), and the stunning RHS Garden Rosemoor (23 miles). Gentle routes such as the Granite Way provide leisurely options (6 miles), while the open moors invite more challenging adventures. Enter your home-from-home and be welcomed by the open plan living space with the wood burner centrally positioned to warm the room. Kick back and relax on the sofa with a cuppa or find a good book, whilst indulging your favourite TV show on the Smart TV.
