At the foot of the Cheviot Hills, Wooler has a small but plentiful selection of local shops, pubs, and eateries, along with some wonderful historic churches and buildings. The surrounding area has you spoiled for choice, with Langleeford 5.5 miles away, the Ingram Valley 11.5 miles away, and Linhope Spout 15.5 miles away offering breathtaking walks towards the impressive Cheviot Hills. If you’re heading to the coast, Bamburgh, Beadnell and Seahouses can all be reached in 22.5 miles. The border town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, offering two gorgeous beaches, coastal and country river walks, and some lovely cafes, can be reached within 18 miles of the doorstep.
