From your doorstep, soak up spectacular views of Tintagel Castle (0.5 miles) where history and myth combine in a dramatic setting above the waves – be sure to visit if you’re OK with steep slopes and sheer drops. Tintagel village (0.5 miles) is an easy stroll, with its slate cottages and cosy cafes, while Tintagel Beach (1 mile) lies just below the monument. Keen walkers can join the South West Coast Path to reach Bossiney Cove (1.5 miles), a tucked-away sandy spot with turquoise waters, or Trebarwith Strand (2.5 miles), buzzing with bodyboarders, rock pools and cliffside pubs.
