This luxurious Georgian home in the heart of Alnwick is wonderful for a memorable stay as a couple or small group of friends, sleeping four guests across two beautifully styled bedrooms. The pet-friendly home has elegant interiors combining classic period charm with modern comforts, all within Alnwick’s historic Conservation Area. You’re just 100 metres from a cosy pub, with independent shops, restaurants, tea rooms and a quirky second-hand bookshop within 0.5 miles, along with Alnwick Castle and the famous Alnwick Garden and Treehouses. Further afield, visit Bamburgh (17.5 miles) with its dramatic castle, or spend afternoons on Warkworth’s sandy beach (7.5 miles). Go south to reach Alnmouth (4.5 miles) for its lively pubs, or Amble (9 miles) for a stroll around the harbour. To the north, you’ll find Craster (7 miles), best known for its kipper smokehouse. Step through the front door to be greeted by lofty ceilings and an elegant staircase that sets the tone for the rest of this Grade II-listed home. The decor is tasteful throughout, with feature wallpaper, cohesive colour schemes and quality wooden furniture and doors. Socialise and eat in the open-plan kitchen and dining area, with a dining table for four and a fully equipped kitchen with gleaming white units. The lounge is bright and welcoming, with two large sash windows and a feature fireplace housing a wood burner for cosy evenings in front of the Smart TV.
