A scenic 1-mile walk leads to Readymoney Cove, a sheltered sandy beach watched over by a 15th-century fort with spectacular coastal views. Further afield, take the Bodinnick car ferry (150 metres) for easy access to hotspots like Looe (12 miles), or board the Polruan Ferry (0.4 mile) for a day trip to the pretty village famed for its boat-building heritage. For a scenic walk, follow the South West Coast Path east and enjoy a picnic and spot of paddling at Lantic Bay (2.7 mile). Venture to the world-famous Eden Project (7 miles) or check out Charlestown’s historic harbour (7 miles) for memorable days out.
