You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches – Crantock, Holywell, Polly Joke, and Porth are all close by, boasting golden sands, sea views, and plenty of space to relax or play. 4 miles away, Newquay is a must-visit for beach lovers and surfers alike. Head to Fistral Beach for a surf lesson or to watch the action from the comfort of the sand. In town, explore a wide range of restaurants, from casual bites to fine dining experiences. For a true taste of Cornwall, foodie haven Padstow is 15 miles away. Take a trip to Truro (10 miles) for boutique shopping, cafes, and a show at the Hall for Cornwall. Don’t miss a visit to the National Trust’s Trerice (1 mile) or the world-famous Eden Project, 19 miles from home. You’re also welcome to explore the wider estate gardens and grounds, shared with guests from neighbouring properties, which are ideal if you’re travelling as part of a larger group.
