For a day by the sea, head to the glorious North Yorkshire coast, with Scarborough, Filey, Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby all within 25 miles.

A sociable dining area with a handsome main table is to the side, perfect for family feasts which you can cook in the sleek and fully equipped shaker-style kitchen to the rear. When it’s time to turn in for the night, head down the hall to the three cosy bedrooms. The first is a beautiful king-size room with a handy en-suite shower room, while the other two are cheerful and relaxing twin rooms, all decorated in warm neutral tones to ensure a fantastic night’s sleep.
