Right on your doorstep is Mortimer’s Trail, a scenic walking route that stretches from Ludlow to Kington and passes right by the property. Spend the day venturing around the National Trust’s Croft Castle and parkland just 6 miles away or Berrington Hall (9 miles). The area is also laced with cycle routes suitable for all levels, so don’t forget the bikes! For a taste of local charm, follow the Black and White Village Trail, which takes in some of Herefordshire’s prettiest villages, including Pembridge, Eardisland, and Weobley. Each offers timber-framed houses, independent tea rooms, and village greens where children can run free. Within a 23-mile radius, you’ll find bustling market towns such as Leominster (9 miles), Ludlow (8 miles), and Hay-on-Wye, all brimming with character.
