Rural and tranquil, this detached cottage is beautifully furnished and decorated to make an attractive home from home. Its convenient location makes it a quiet haven whilst being close enough to Carbis Bay’s amenities that they are within walking distance. There are several fantastic beaches close to the property, and the stunning St Ives is just down the road, with Penzance and Marazion a short drive south. Slightly further afield, Land’s End is a renowned tourist location and well-worth a visit when in the area.
Entering this single-storey accommodation, you immediately feel relaxed and at ease. The front door leads through to the stunning open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a fantastically airy and light space thanks to the high ceilings, large windows and French doors. The lounge has beautiful soft furnishings, a Smart TV with Netflix/Sky package, DVD, iPod dock and beautiful wood burner and the lovely dining table is big enough to seat six. The fitted kitchen is comprised of an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine and tumble dryer. Through to the bedrooms, the first of which has a king size bed and French doors leading out to the garden. The second bedroom has 2’6” twin zip-and-link beds, which can be made into a king by prior arrangement. The shower room is beautifully fitted with a large walk-in shower and WC.
Outside the property benefits from a private enclosed garden, part of which is laid to lawn with seating. There is an additional gravelled area with garden furniture and BBQ. A small garden shed provides access to useful things for the beach including windbreaks and bodyboards for guests to enjoy, as well as a handy tumble dryer. You can also wash off salty dogs and wetsuits using the outside tap and hosepipe. The property is accessed via an unmade lane, which is uneven in places.
