This attractive cottage is just outside the small Welsh village of Talgarreg, surrounded by the stunning Ceredigion countryside. Sleeping eight guests across four bedrooms, it’s a fantastic base for a family get-together or holiday with friends. Enjoy long walks from your door, journey 6 miles to the long-distance Wales Coast Path, or spend days on the picturesque Cardigan Bay beaches. The characterful cottage has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished to create a memorable backdrop to your holiday, with an eclectic mix of furniture and colourful accessories. At its heart is a traditional kitchen/diner, with all the equipment needed to cater for a large group, along with a farmhouse-style dining table and French doors onto the garden. In the evenings, snuggle up in the cosy lounge to watch the Smart TV or play board games together. One of the bedrooms – a double with a four-poster bed – is located on the ground floor. This room has its own en-suite shower room and doors leading out onto the terrace. The remaining bedrooms and the family bathroom are on the first floor. Outside, dine on the patio at the rear of the cottage, complete with a lovely lawn. Alternatively, sit out on the glass-fronted raised deck with magnificent countryside views. The property has private parking for three cars. The colourful seaside town of Aberaeron is 9 miles away. Spend time here amongst its galleries, boutiques, and gift shops, before dining in one of the seafood restaurants or cosy pubs. After a bite to eat, head down to the pebble beach for a stroll along the shoreline. Closer to home is the picture-postcard village of New Quay (6 miles), where you can join a boat trip and go dolphin spotting along the scenic heritage coast. The cottage is also within touring distance of the vibrant university town of Aberystwyth (25 miles).
