Underneath the vaulted, beamed ceiling is a lounge/kitchen/diner decorated in neutral tones with a splash of blue. At one end of the room is a lounge containing two plump sofas and an armchair surrounding a wood burner and glass patio doors leading to a raised decking. On the other side is a farmhouse-style kitchen/diner with a central wooden dining table and a fitted wooden and granite, ‘L’-shaped kitchen unit. Descend the stairs to reach a games room with a snooker table plus a snug. There is also a family bathroom, a shower room and three bedrooms – two doubles and an en-suite super-king-size room. Outside is a spacious, lawned garden with furniture on the patio areas. There is private parking for three cars.

During your stay in this quiet part of Cornwall, along a rural country road, you’ll be just 1.5 miles from the village of Stithians where you can pick up essentials and dine out at the dog-friendly pub. Spend a day on the water at Stithians Reservoir (5 miles) or take a picnic to Kennall Vale Nature Reserve (3 miles). Wander around Pendennis Castle in Falmouth (8 miles) and stop by the National Maritime Museum Cornwall and Falmouth Art Gallery while you’re there. The North coast’s Portreath Beach is also just 8.5 miles away.
