Coverdale’s namesake, the River Cover, runs past the property about 1.5 miles away, with undulating roads and heath-clad fields ready to be discovered around the river and the surrounding valley. Buckden Pike and Great Whernside (car park 10 miles) are your nearest peaks for long, rewarding hikes. You can also enjoy a day out at the local Forbidden Corner attraction, around 5 miles away. Spend time in beautiful Aysgarth (10 miles), spotting hidden waterfalls and fantastic sights along the River Ure, or head to Cray to discover the fabulous Middle Falls (15.5 miles).
