You will be greeted by the beautiful farmhouse-style kitchen/diner with a welcoming central dining table, ample equipment and plenty of storage space. The handsomely arranged lounge has exposed ceiling beams, comfortable seating, a Smart TV and a roaring wood burner set in an impressive inglenook. There’s also a sweet snug with another Smart TV and an ornamental fireplace. The ground floor also has a stylish main bathroom. Upstairs, you will find a refreshing shower room and three cosy bedrooms: an elegant king-size room, a cheerful twin and a lovely bunk bedroom. Outside, the generous garden is surrounded by a low stone wall and features a lovely lawn and a patio providing an ideal spot for a BBQ in the summer sun. A stream runs past the garden – please keep children supervised. Private parking is available for three cars. The cottage lies in the quiet hamlet of Pentre-Bach, midway between Llandovery (13.5 miles) and Brecon (12 miles). The Brecon Beacons National Park (2 miles) offers miles of superb walking trails. The friendly market town of Brecon is home to the Royal Welsh Regimental Museum and Brecon Cathedral, and is ideal for tranquil strolls along the River Usk and the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal.
