This luxurious barn conversion enjoys a remote setting within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, 4 miles from the ancient market town of Settle. The spacious, pet-friendly property sleeps six guests and suits both large families and groups of friends, with a sociable, open-plan layout and two lounge areas to enjoy. The holiday home makes a fantastic base for keen walkers, with the Yorkshire Three Peaks nearby, as well as iconic beauty spots such as Malham Cove (all within 15 miles). The stone barn conversion oozes style and sophistication, with luxurious furniture and opulent fixtures and fittings sitting alongside original features such as exposed beams and recessed windows. The property has an open-plan layout, creating a sociable space in which to spend quality time with family and friends, and at the heart of the home is a vast lounge/kitchen/diner with a fabulous vaulted ceiling. At one end of the room is a sleek kitchen area with all the equipment needed to cater for a large group, along with a breakfast bar for informal dining. Taking centre stage is a wooden dining table with a mix of chairs and bench seating – the perfect place for hosting dinner parties and special occasions. After dinner, retire to the snug area to chat about your day over a glass of wine or watch a movie on the Smart TV. Alternatively, head through to the main lounge to relax on the plush, velvet seating and warm your toes in front of the wood burner-effect electric fire. This room also has a Smart TV. Completing the ground floor is a beautiful twin bedroom and a handy utility room. Upstairs, the two remaining bedrooms are nestled beneath the eaves. Both bedrooms are decorated in calming, neutral tones and have their own, en-suite facilities. Outside, the enclosed garden enjoys magnificent rural views (from time to time you can even see the steam trains of the Carlisle line passing in the distance!). On a summer’s evening, fire up the BBQ and enjoy an al fresco supper on the patio, before sinking into the bubbling hot tub beneath the stars. The property has private parking for four cars. You’ll find numerous walks to explore directly from the property, including to the nearby hamlet of Helwith Bridge. Here, you can enjoy the beautiful river views, before refuelling in the friendly pub. The area is also popular amongst anglers. The picturesque village of Ingleton (10 miles) makes a lovely day out, with its famous White Scar Cave, idyllic waterfall walks, and tracks leading to the summit of Ingleborough. Nearby attractions include the Wensleydale Creamery and the Dales Countryside Museum, both located in the market town of Hawes (18 miles).
