Stepping inside, you’ll notice the abundance of character in this period property. In the living room, bask in the light pouring in from two sets of French doors opening to both the front and rear garden. Revel in here in front of the warming corner fireplace, or explore the games room, a fantastic spot for socialising, featuring flagstone floors and an open fire. When it’s time to eat, head into the open-plan kitchen/diner, a welcoming space with flagstone floors, exposed beams, and an open fire with a traditional bread oven. After cooking a delicious meal, savour it around the bespoke table in the large dining room. Hiking and cycling in the Brecon Beacons is at your doorstep, with the Pwll-y-Wrach Nature Reserve, 6 miles away, renowned for its waterfall and picturesque trails. The bookish haven of Hay-on-Wye (12 miles) awaits, where you can wander through world-famous bookstores and enjoy quaint cafes and pubs. For further national park exploration, Talgarth, Bwlch, Talybont-on-Usk, and Crickhowell are all within 14 miles of home.
