Sleeping four guests, it’s the perfect bolthole for couples and small families looking to fully switch off and relax. You’ll find a multitude of walking and cycling routes to explore in the surrounding area, across open moorland and through scenic valleys. The market town of Garstang is only 6 miles away, with it's historic narrow alleyways which provide an interesting an unexpected diversion to many hidden shops, restaurants and cafes, along with a few pubs to grab a drink after a busy day. Pendle Hill (23 miles) is a particular highlight, offering spectacular views across Ribble Valley and even as far as Blackpool on a clear day. Further afield, outdoor enthusiasts can also enjoy excursions to the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales (both within 30 miles). Enter the charming cottage into the porch, where you can store muddy boots and outdoor gear. From here, move through to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which features a beautiful tiled floor and a cosy wood burner nestled in an original stone fireplace.
