Located next to the village church, this property offers a peaceful coastal escape for families, walkers, cyclists and wildlife enthusiasts with many local attractions nearby. The village is located at the start of the 62-mile-long Northumberland Coast Path to Berwick-upon-Tweed; however, you can enjoy walks from the doorstep along stunning Cresswell Beach, which is perfect for surfers, wild swimmers and picnics in the dunes. You might even see dolphins playing out at sea. Bird watchers can head to Cresswell Nature Reserve and neighbouring Druridge Bay Nature Reserve and Country Park which boasts a beach, a freshwater lake, woodland walks and a visitor centre. Visit Pele Tower in the village for local history, followed by some breakfast or lunch at the popular cafe (0.5 miles). Discover Amble’s marina (10.5 miles), excellent seafood restaurants and take a boat trip to Coquet Island, visit Warkworth Castle and village (11.5 miles), and Alnmouth’s beach, friendly village shops, eateries and stunning golf course (16 miles). Enter this single-storey cottage via the side entrance and you come into the well-equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing a family meal. From here, walk through to the boot room where you can hang your coats and store walking boots. The family bathroom is next to the boot room comprising a large, corner bath with a hand-held shower attachment and a WC. A shallow step takes you into the light and airy lounge/dining room which overlooks the front garden. There is a comfortable sofa and two armchairs to relax on after your adventures with a Freeview TV for entertainment. The large dining table is perfect for enjoying mealtimes together and for spreading out your maps and books. The two generous bedrooms complete the accommodation, each with plenty of storage space. One has a super-king-size bed and a feature fireplace and the other has a king-size bed. Outside, at the rear of the property, there is a patio area with garden furniture where you can listen to the birds and enjoy alfresco dining in the warmer months and dark sky stargazing all year round. A step leads to the large, lawned garden with a sea view from the corner viewing area. At the front, there is a large, south-facing garden with two seating areas so you can enjoy the sunshine all day long. There is parking for two cars on the gated driveway.
