Enjoy a vibrant day out in the nearby city of Wells (2 miles), where after exploring the cobbled streets busy with independent shops and places to eat, you can visit the famous Wells Cathedral and the historic Bishop’s Palace. For more local charm, head to the quirky town of Glastonbury (8 miles) where the likes of Glastonbury Tor and the ruins of Glastonbury Abbey await. Also nearby is the RSPB reserve of Ham Wall (11.5 miles) for wildlife watching.
