This modern cottage is situated in the north-west Cumbrian market town of Longtown, you'll find convenient shopping and dining options nearby, with the Scottish border just 4 miles away at Gretna Green. The Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty starts at Rockcliffe Marsh, across the river from Gretna, offering picturesque opportunities for walking and cycling. Journey to Bowness-on-Solway (20 miles), and enjoy part of the walk along Hadrian’s Wall, a must for history enthusiasts. The charming city of Carlisle is just 9.5 miles away – be sure to tour the medieval Carlisle Castle and then explore the city's extensive selection of shops, cafes, pubs, and restaurants surrounding the historic site. As you enter the cottage through the large, welcoming entrance hall, you’ll notice its airy atmosphere and contemporary decor.
