Pull on your walking boots and head for the footpath, just 100 metres away, for a walk to the local pub (2 miles) or ramble through fields and open countryside to Lathkill Dale, Over Haddon, Sheldon, Monyash, Ashford-in-the-Water and Bakewell (all between 2 and 5 miles). An array of eateries, shops and attractions are available in the beautiful market town of Bakewell (2.5 miles), while days out can also be enjoyed at Chatsworth House (6.5 miles), Haddon Hall (7 miles) and the elegant spa town of Buxton (11 miles).
