Offering a restorative stay on the North York Moors coastline, this incredible farmhouse property hosts eight guests and two dogs within easy reach of Saltburn (7 miles) and Staithes (2 miles). Surrounded by wide-open scenery with country road walks in every which way, you’re well positioned to explore the bucolic beauty of the North East’s National Park whilst staying here, peppered with trips along the coastline and afternoons on sunny beaches. Stay close to home and walk the vicinity or jump in the car to visit Whitby (12 miles) and Middlesbrough (19.5 miles), each offering ample amenities and appealing attractions. Countryside appeal has been maintained in this traditional barn conversion, with oak furnishings, low beams and quirky soft furnishings laid out across two storeys. Comfort is assured in this spacious property, allowing all eight of your party to spread out. On the first floor, four fantastic bedrooms can each be found with its own en-suite, adding that necessary touch of privacy needed for a stay with a large group. Downstairs, the ground floor is laid out as an open-plan space with a lounge, kitchen and diner, complete with a coal-effect electric fire set before cushy seating in the living room. Dine indoors or out, moving into the enclosed, elevated garden and fire up the BBQ. The garden also offers space for you to store bikes and surfboards, with so many cycle routes and surf-ready beaches accessible close by. Nearby Runswick Bay (4 miles) is a consistent spot for surfing with generally good conditions, as is Sandsend a little further away (9 miles). For cyclists or those just hoping to explore on two feet, the Cleveland Way is an exceptional coastal National Trail that you can join in just over 0.5 miles.
