About This Property
Oc 28996 Hareslade Cottage is a 2 bedroom dog friendly property
Get away from it all on the spectacular Gower Peninsula in this charming cottage in Bishopston. The property sleeps four guests and is ideal for families and friends looking to explore the picture-postcard beaches and rugged coast paths synonymous with Gower. You’ll also be perfectly placed for day trips to the traditional seaside village of Mumbles (3 miles) and the vibrant city of Swansea (6.5 miles).
The welcoming cottage is decorated in delicate, pastel shades and has large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The main living area is open plan, comprising a lounge/kitchen/diner. Spend quality time together here, rustling up tasty treats in the cute kitchen area and sharing family mealtimes at the table by the window. After dinner, relax in the cosy lounge area to watch a film on the Smart TV and warm your toes by the multi fuel log burner, which can also accept coal Alternatively, curl up on the soft seating in the reading nook in the hallway to read a few pages of your book. When it’s time for bed, choose from two tranquil bedrooms. A family bathroom completes the accommodation. Outside, sip a sundowner or enjoy an al fresco meal on the patio, access to shared field opposite for dogs, children to play.
The friendly village of Bishopston has three cosy pubs and a handful of local shops. The countryside surrounding the village is a paradise for walkers, with tracks and trails leading through the ancient woodland of Bishopston Valley. You’ll be close to three fantastic beaches, all very different to each other. The secluded Brandy Cove is just 1 mile away, and is a peaceful place for a picnic or a paddle. From here, a footpath leads to the equally remote Pwll Du Bay, which is a pebbly beach with breathtaking scenery. Along the coast, the family-favourite, surfing hotspot of Caswell Bay is 1.5 miles away.
