Nestled in the bustling heart of Whitby, this second-floor holiday apartment is the ideal base for a small family looking to explore one of Britain's best-loved seaside resorts. The two-bedroom apartment is conveniently located right next to the famous West Cliff, less than half a mile’s stroll of the cobbled streets, quirky cafes and boutique shops that Whitby is famous for. Ascend two flights of stairs to the entrance of this second-floor apartment and head inside to find a beautifully designed open-plan living space with views of Whitby Abbey. Take a seat on one of the comfy sofas and enjoy the warmth of the gas fire or pull up a chair at the dining table and set up some family board games. The kitchen is fitted with all the mod cons you could need and there is plenty of room for whipping up picnics and home-cooked meals. There is also a granite breakfast bar with some stools. When night falls, there is a light and airy double bedroom and a room with bunk beds perfect for children, plus a family bathroom with a gorgeous roll-top bath. And if you're looking to explore beyond the town, there is a heritage train which can take you 24 miles through the stunning North York Moors to the market town of Pickering with its olde-worlde charm.
