The property is located in a particularly scenic area of Mid-Wales on the banks of the River Bechan, with views of St Beauno’s Church on one side and two ornamental lakes on the other. Dolforwyn Castle is less than 4 miles away, and the Norman Castle at Montgomery is 8 miles away. This impressive property with a pretty lake-side setting has all the charm and contemporary comforts to ensure an unforgettable holiday. Enter the porch and walk to the spacious lounge/diner, with characterful oak beams and a lovely open fireplace. There is a TV, so you can curl up and enjoy a film with the family. A large, country-style kitchen offers all the appliances needed to make preparing family feasts and celebratory meals a breeze. Four bedrooms are available, all with TVs: one double with a four poster bed and an en-suite bathroom and two double with an en-suite bathroom with shower and WC. On the ground floor is a double en-suite. There is an adjoining annexe which offers additional sleeping accommodation with four en-suite bedrooms, all with TVs: one king-size, one double and on the ground floor, two twins, which are connected via the external main entrance porch. Relax in the private Jacuzzi and sauna after a day exploring the local area. Stepping outside, you’ll find a private patio area with garden furniture, a BBQ, and access to a large, shared courtyard with a fountain. The ancient market town of Welshpool (10.5 miles) is worth a visit and offers a selection of shops, restaurants, a cinema, and the opportunity to take a trip on the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway. Magnificent Powis Castle and Gardens and Montgomery Canal are only 10 miles away, where you can discover the fascinating local history and enjoy a lovely walk in the pretty countryside.
