Sitting amid the peace and beauty of the Welsh countryside, this luxurious holiday property makes a wonderful getaway for a large group of friends or family. Extra special touches include the hot tub, games barn, an outdoor dining space, and a paddock where the kids and canines can play. Beautifully furnished throughout, a lot of thought has gone into guests’ comfort, and luxury touches sit alongside period features. The stylish living room has wooden beams, an old bread oven, and a traditional inglenook fireplace with a wood burner for cosy evenings in. The bright kitchen has a large breakfast bar and next to it is the stunning dining room, which seats eight to ten people. There’s also a utility room with a WC, a double bedroom and shower room on the ground floor. Upstairs are the other three gorgeous bedrooms, a twin and a king with built-in storage and farm views, and a super-king in the old hayloft. There’s also a further bathroom. Take in the moorland views from the bubbling hot tub, enjoy drinks and a BBQ outdoors on the patio, and play in the games barn and paddock.
The cottage is excellently placed for walking with Snowdonia National Park close by. Glyndŵr’s Way national trail is accessible from the farm, which wends its way through the moorland, farmland, woodlands, and forests of Mid Wales. Visit Lake Vyrnwy for more beautiful walking routes, also an excellent spot for birdwatching and sailing. Wander to stunning Rhiwargor waterfall near the lake. Welshpool Golf Course, a beautiful 18-hole course with the mountains of Snowdonia as a backdrop, is about 18 miles away.
