After a day filled with beach visits, relaxing strolls and tasting the local cuisine, relax in the terraced garden with a bottle of bubbly. Enter the ground floor and find yourself in the traditional cottage lounge with a wood burner inside a stone fireplace, comfortable seating and doors that open onto the terrace. Continue into the country-style kitchen with wooden surface tops and a dining table with seating for four. Completing this level is a convenient utility cupboard plus a family bathroom with a walk-in shower. Climb the stairs to reach another family bathroom plus two bedrooms – a super-king-size zip and link and a single room. On the second floor is the double bedroom with river glimpses and a TV. Continue past the ferry landing to reach Readymoney Beach and the 1530s St Catherine’s Castle (both 0.5 miles).
