Lace up your walking boots and pack a delicious picnic to explore the surrounding AONB coastline, discovering seven bays for seven days in the vicinity or visiting local kid-friendly attractions. You can, of course, stay close to home and explore Padstow. Wander the harbour, visit the beach and be sure to try one of the many renowned seafood restaurants throughout your stay. Underfloor heating, smart herringbone flooring and a handsome kitchen with an Aga and Smeg fridge are just some of the features that greet you in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Presented with calming tones of blue throughout, this is simply a wonderful space to prepare dishes, dine or sink into the L-shaped sofa and get stuck into a great film. You can also embark on a passenger ferry over to Rock from Padstow’s harbour (300 metres), visiting the golden sand beach there (1.5 miles). For adventure-ready families, rent bikes and follow the incredible Camel Trail (1 mile) out into the countryside, reaching the local town of Bodmin (13 miles) in just a few hours.
