Plas Menai National Watersports centre is 2 miles away, Zip World Penrhyn Quarry is 5 miles, and Llanberis, the starting point for hiking or the train to the top of Yr Wyddfa - Snowdon, is also 5 miles. If a day at the beach takes your fancy, head 4 miles to the Menai Bridge and cross onto the unique island of Anglesey, where unspoilt beaches, hidden coves, pretty towns and impressive castles await. In the city of Bangor, just 3 miles away, you can wander the shops and the Victorian pier, and try a variety of places to eat and drink, while the royal town of Caernarfon, with its magnificent castle, is only 6 miles away.
