Upstairs is an attractive double bedroom, with exposed beams and an oak latched door. Across the landing is a modern bathroom with a three-quarter bath with a fitted shower over the bath. In addition, there is also a well-presented children's room. Opposite the cottage is an enclosed and slightly raised terrace where guests can sit and relax. The cottage also benefits from its own ‘beach’ garden with unique outside seating and this is located a few metres away down a shared path, which also leads to the community field. The high moors, deep valleys and sparkling rivers of Exmoor National Park (10 miles) beckon for other memorable days out. The harbour town of Ilfracombe (4.5 miles) with Damien Hirst’s bronze sculpture Verity, and many individual shops, cafes and restaurants is nearby and well worth a visit too.
