This stunning character property, situated in Sedgeford within the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is perfect for you and your guests. Sleeping five over three charming bedrooms and with space for up to two dogs, you don’t need to leave anyone behind! Built in 1642, this ancient historic building has its own quirks with uneven floor levels and steps, giving you a sense of its history as a disguised munitions store during the English Civil War. Spend sunny evenings in the wrap-around garden, watching the children play on the lawn while you sizzle up a BBQ and watch from the patio. This unique holiday home retains many original features, and the owners have furnished and decorated it in keeping with its age. Beautiful flooring, a barn door to the garden and a stunning brick fireplace in the kitchen make it a delight to cook in, while exposed beams, feature light fittings and large windows in the open-plan living area create a cosy atmosphere. Sit in a sunny spot with a book or curl up in front of the wood burner that hides under the stairs. Exposed beams, neutral decor and wooden furniture in the bedrooms promote a great night’s sleep. When you can tear yourself away, head off down Peddars Way that runs straight past the front door on your bike or on foot. There’s a pub just 1 mile away to stop at on your return journey. Children will love a day at the beach at Hunstanton (5 miles), while grown-ups might prefer a stroll along Snettisham Beach and the RSPB reserve (7 miles). You can’t visit this part of Norfolk without visiting Norfolk Lavender (2.5 miles) where there’s a soft play and animal centre to keep the little ones busy.
